We like his interesting and humorous stories even more as they are also on point with his pineapple and durian brand’s message, which is why we have nominated him for the Hong Bao Media Savvy Awards 2020.

Supported by the Asia Pacific Association of Communications Directors, we highlight shining examples for other local business leaders to follow, and to build a culture of excellence in communication, to maximise the potential of Asian companies in the Asian Century.
Lee tells a story about a rookie mistake he and his team made when they opened durians on an expensive meeting room table. It is a funny story and drives home how he started the durian business from scratch.
Another trait we like about Lee is his steady, unhurried delivery. He knows the stories he wants to tell and he takes his time to tell them. He is calm and engaging.
